Afternoon Session:

Chris Griffin, DDS

Chris Griffin is on a mission to spread the word about how practice automations can revolutionize current dental practice workflows. His strategic approach to implementing 3D systems through team delegation encourages increased productivity and performance from every staff member and takes the pressure off the doctor. Teaching other dentists how they can use 3D printing to provide clinical excellence while at the same time slashing overhead is a true passion for Chris and is the driving force of his message.

With FDA approval of new 3D printing resins that are indicated for use in procedures such as dentures and permanent crowns, general dentists have never been in a better position to give time-sensitive and affordable options to their patients. Proper understanding of this emerging technology not only give money-conscious patients esthetic options not previously possible, but also gives general dentists the opportunity to become a hero to patients who might have chosen less than ideal treatment. The goal of this lecture is to give attending dentists and team members the opportunity to walk away with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to start using 3D printing technology in their practices. 3D printing can be used to facilitate model creation, denture fabrication, surgical implant guide production, and more affordable clear aligner therapy options, plus many more applications that will improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction for general dentists.

Learning Objectives:

-Gain more control over their lab workflow
-Reduce overhead on many everyday procedures and tasks
-Diagnose today and deliver digital dentures tomorrow
-Bring clear aligner therapy in-house at a fraction of their current lab cost
-Learn the most cost effective way to set up their new 3D lab
-Quickly fabricate surgical guides for your implant patients
-Market your new 3D printing skills
-Greatly increase treatment acceptance on many larger cases
-Implement a step-by-step blueprint for implementing 3D technologies primarily using your dental team
-How Dr. Griffin paid off his initial 3D printing investment with SprintRay treating 8 cases in 21 days

Six CE credits will be given for the day.
