Dr. Toni Neumeier

Dr. Neumeier received her DMD degree from UAB School of Dentistry, Birmingham, AL as well as her Prosthodontic certification. Dr. Neumeier is a Fellow and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Neumeier retired from UAB Dental School in August 2020 and returned as Adjunct Faculty. She has many years of experience in all categories of Prosthodontics (Crown, Bridge, Partial Denture, Complete
Denture and Implant), including Digital Dentistry, and over 12 years experience in digital dentures.

Current Workflow of Digital Dentures

You have seen a lot of advertisements on digital dentures in the past 5 years. Is it time to consider incorporating either a digital or hybrid (Digital + analog) denture service into your practice? Significant amounts of literature have demonstrated that providing patients with digital dentures can not only save
chair time but also with better fitted dentures and less follow up appointments. During this course your concerns such as: “Do you need to change clinical procedures? Which lab to send in your case? Do you need any digital equipment such as: Intraoral scanner, lab scanner and 3-D printer in your office? What
is the bottle neck of providing digital dentures service….” Please join me and discuss about these concerns and share my over 12 years of experiences with digital dentures with you.

OSHA and CDC Infection Control in Dentistry


Dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and all dental team members will update their compliance knowledge based on OSHA/CDC requirements by attending this course. These shows include lectures, audience participation, fabulous prizes, learning, and laughter.

Ashraf F. Fouad, DDS, MS, FACD

Dr. Fouad obtained his DDS, Certificate of Endodontics and MS at the University of Iowa.
He served on the faculty and in various administrative roles at University of Connecticut, the University of Maryland, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently Professor and Chair, Department of Endodontics, and Director, Advanced
Endodontics Program, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Fouad has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 24 textbook chapters, and 140 abstracts. He edited and co-authored the textbooks: Endodontic Microbiology (now in its second edition), as well as the fifth and sixth editions of Endodontics: Principles and Practice. He is a Diplomate and Past President of the American Board of Endodontics, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Endodontics and Dental
Traumatology. In 2017, he received the Distinguished Scientist Award from the International Association of Dental Research. In 2022, he received the President’s
Award of the American Association of Endodontists.

Topics of Discussion:

-Effective management of endodontic emergencies
-Novel root canal disinfection technologies, and contemporary instrumentation and obturation approaches
-Update on vital pulp therapy and regenerative endodontic therapy
-Management of traumatic injuries to teeth
